About our Pastor

Pastor Woody has served in various capacities in our church.

In the past 28yrs he has served as Sunday School Teacher, Youth Director, Deacon, Ordained Assistant Pastor and is a graduate of Gulf Coast Bible Institute with a Bachelor in Biblical Studies.

He and his wife were called to missions, serving 8yrs in the Dominican Republic, establishing an Independent Baptist Church in the capital city of Santo Domingo.

After the passing of our Pastor of 33yrs, Dennis Morris, in November of 2007, our church called Pastor Woody home to serve as our new pastor.

It is with joy that he looks forward to serving you and your family as we endeavor together in the advancement of the gospel.

Pastor Woody has served the Lord at TBC since 1979. As Sunday School Teacher, Youth Director, Deacon, Ordained Assistant Pastor. A graduate of Gulf Coast Bible Institute with a Bachelor in Biblical Studies he surrendered to missions in 1999, he and his wife served 8yrs in the Dominican Republic, establishing and Independent Baptist Church in the capital city of Santo Domingo. After the home going of Dennis Morris, our Pastor of 33yrs, we called Pastor Woody home to serve as our new pastor.
